About

The Melbourne Anglican Chaplaincy Fund is established to provide funds,

  • to any public hospital or hospital which is carried on by a society of association otherwise than for the purpose of profit or gain to the individual members of that society or association within the Diocese of Melbourne

  • to any public benevolent institution which employs or shares in the employment of a chaplain licensed by the Archbishop of Melbourne or has committed itself to employ or to share in the employment of a chaplain licensed by the Archbishop of Melbourne

“Facing budget changes last year, positive discussions and a generous grant from the Melbourne Anglican Foundation led to a new beginning for Anglican chaplaincy at the hospital in October. Under the twelve-month trial, the parish clergy team is offering up to eight hours a week of chaplaincy to the hospital on a flexible basis, available to any patients, visitors or staff who would value time with a Christian chaplain."

- The Reverend Charlie Fletcher

Vicar, All Saints Clayton

 Visiting Chaplain, Monash Medical Centre

Current Programs running through the Chaplaincy Fund

Barwon Health Geelong Hospital Chaplaincy

Austin Health Hospital Chaplaincy

Royal Children’s Hospital Chaplaincy

Monash Medical Centre Chaplaincy
